These dates are typical when various species are available in the
river. Some regulation restrictions may apply in specific areas
of the river and bag limits vary from year to year. In some years,
June has been known to be a “catch and release” fishery.
Please make note of the following restrictions when making your
Kenai river excursions:

June and July - No fishing from a guide boat on Sundays and Mondays
allowed.
August and September - No fishing from a guide boat on Mondays
